I guess god does read my blog because there is a hell of a thunderstorm right now.
Does anyone remember Hurricane Frances which blew sideways through NYC in September of '04? I remember coming out of a long night of boozing and other substance abuse in the basement of Bar Eleven to a grey 8 am daylight and sideways rain. We'd been so fucked up walled in that basement that we were completely unaware that a hurricane had blown into town.
